Injector Nitro Funny Car & Roots Blown Injector Hat

  • This injector hat is Carbon Fiber with bonded aluminum base and face plates. This is done so we can control the base of the injector opening, bolt hole locations, side nozzle holes, and have an O-ring on the mating surface. The face plate is aluminum to ensure tight injector blade clearances and retain a rigid shape throughout any heat cycles or vacuum during a run.

  • The injector stands 9.500” tall from mating surface to highest point.

  • The injector blades are 6.450” in diameter.

  • The bolt pattern is 3/8 bolt holes 6.4375” x 15.3215”

  • The opening is 5.125” x 14.875”

  • We have angled the face plate to set the bottom of the blade near the edge of the face plate to improve the engines reaction on cars leaving from an idle.

  • There are 1/8” NPT holes on each side of the hat for nozzle bodies or air bleeds.

  • Each injector hat comes standard with internal shaft, return springs, and billet injector stops.
